Cabinet shelf example
The default project places four 300 × 800 mm shelves and two
grain-sensitive 400 × 1,200 mm sides on 1,220 × 2,440 mm sheets with a
3 mm kerf and 5 mm edge trim. The live production engine generates the
displayed plan.

Method and limitations
How the plan is selected
The engine expands quantities, tries several deterministic
guillotine-style orderings, and chooses by fewest sheets, then least
waste, then fewer remaining rectangles. Coordinates and rotation are
shown instead of an invented saw sequence.
This is an efficient bounded heuristic, not a proof of global
optimality. Irregular parts, defects, grain matching, clamps, cut
order, reusable offcuts, and workshop practice may produce a different
or better arrangement.
Does the plan guarantee minimum sheet use?
No. Several repeatable strategies are compared, but another
arrangement may use less material.
What does rotation disabled mean?
The part keeps its entered width and length orientation, which is
useful for grain-sensitive work.
Is kerf included?
Yes. The plan reserves the entered kerf between adjacent
placements created by the split.
Can it plan irregular shapes?
No. Every stock sheet and part must be rectangular.
